Director of US Marketing

Chrono24 · New York City, New York

About
Chrono24 is the world’s leading online marketplace for luxury watches, trusted by buyers and sellers around the world and backed by more than 20 years of market experience.
The US is one of Chrono24’s largest and most strategically important markets, and our US organization is entering an ambitious new phase of growth. We are investing in building Chrono24 into the definitive destination for luxury watches in the US — growing awareness and consideration, accelerating customer and marketplace growth, deepening our connection with collectors and the broader watch community, and strengthening our position within the US luxury ecosystem.
We are looking for a Director of US Marketing to lead that effort.
Role Overview
The Director of US Marketing will own the development and execution of Chrono24’s integrated US marketing strategy, with responsibility for strengthening our brand position, accelerating consumer and marketplace growth, and establishing Chrono24 as a more visible and influential presence within the US watch and luxury ecosystem.
This is a senior, highly entrepreneurial role requiring both strategic leadership and hands-on execution. You will be expected to set the direction for US marketing while remaining close to the work and directly involved in our most important initiatives, investment decisions, and opportunities. You will serve as the senior marketing leader for the US, translating our market and commercial objectives into a cohesive marketing strategy across the full customer journey.
You will lead areas of marketing managed directly within the US organization while also shaping US strategy and priorities across capabilities shared with or supported by global teams. Your success will depend not only on what you directly own, but on your ability to bring together local, global and external capabilities around a clear US market strategy and shared business outcomes.
The role spans brand building and consumer growth, integrated campaigns, PR and communications, social and content, partnerships, events and experiential marketing, community building, customer engagement and marketing support across both sides of our marketplace. As the US business continues to scale, you will also help shape how our US and global marketing organizations work together and where capabilities should sit to best serve the market.
This role reports to the VP/GM, Americas and will be a key member of the US leadership team.

What you can expect
- Own the integrated US marketing strategy. Develop and drive a comprehensive marketing strategy aligned with Chrono24’s US growth objectives and global brand strategy, bringing together brand, consumer growth, customer engagement and marketplace priorities into one cohesive plan.
- Build Chrono24’s brand in the US. Increase awareness, consideration, cultural relevance and trust among existing watch enthusiasts as well as the next generation of luxury watch buyers and collectors.
- Drive full-funnel consumer growth. Shape the US approach to customer acquisition, engagement, conversion, retention and lifetime value, ensuring brand and performance marketing work together to drive sustainable growth.
- Lead across a global marketing organization. Serve as the senior US business partner to global teams responsible for capabilities such as paid media, CRM and lifecycle marketing, affiliates, product marketing, etc. Establish US priorities, identify opportunities, evaluate performance and align teams around US market objectives.
- Create integrated campaigns and experiences. Identify and act on US-specific consumer, commercial, and cultural opportunities, translating them into locally relevant campaigns, content, social, partnerships, creator programs, events and experiences that bring the Chrono24 brand to life and drive measurable engagement and growth.
- Build Chrono24’s voice and authority. Lead US PR and communications in partnership with our external agency and global teams, strengthening our presence across watch, luxury, business, lifestyle and cultural media and positioning Chrono24 as an authoritative voice within the category.
- Deepen our connection with the watch community. Build meaningful relationships with collectors, enthusiasts, watch clubs, dealers, brands, media and other influential communities, ensuring Chrono24 participates authentically in the culture surrounding watches rather than simply marketing to it.
- Support both sides of the marketplace. Partner with our US Supply organization and global B2B marketing teams to support dealer acquisition, engagement, inventory growth and other strategic supply priorities alongside our consumer growth agenda.
- Bring the US market perspective into the global organization. Develop a deep understanding of US customers, collectors, dealers, competitors and cultural trends and use those insights to influence broader marketing, product, and commercial priorities.
- Own performance and investment decisions. Establish clear KPIs across brand, customer and commercial performance; manage relevant US marketing budgets and agency relationships; and use data and insights to continually improve marketing effectiveness and resource allocation.
- Build the organization for what comes next. Develop a high-performing US marketing organization and ensure it has access to the capabilities and resources required to execute effectively. As the business scales, work with US and global leadership to evolve how internal teams, global capabilities, external partners, resources and decision-making are organized to best serve the market.
