Holidu is one of the world's fastest-growing vacation-rental technology companies. Croatia is a newly opened market for us, with an 4-person team in Zagreb and a real opportunity to grow. Now we are looking for the leader who can do just that: scale the operation, raise the bar on performance, and set a solid foundation for clear market leadership.
As the commercial lead for Croatia, you will own the growth strategy and revenue outcomes for the market, and you will lead, coach and grow the Zagreb Sales & Account Management team as part of Holidu's Emerging Markets organization, alongside Greece and Portugal. You will report to the Head of Sales, Emerging Markets, and be close to both your team and your hosts, in the field and in the numbers.

WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Own the commercial strategy and growth plan for Croatia, and deliver on acquisition and revenue targets.
- Lead, coach and develop the 4-person Zagreb team, raising performance and building bench strength through internal growth and promotions.
- Professionalize how the team sells: forecasting, pipeline discipline, KPI-driven coaching and data-informed decisions.
- Build a high-performance, high-engagement culture, including initiatives that lift team motivation and retention.
- Strengthen Holidu's brand and partnerships with hosts and key local stakeholders, with a strong on-the-ground presence.
- Share playbooks and results with the Greece and Portugal leads, and adopt what works across Emerging Markets.
- Feed market insights back to Product, Marketing and Operations to shape the roadmap.
- Stay ahead of local regulation and market dynamics to enable sustainable growth
- In your first months, get hands-on with host acquisition yourself to learn the product and sales process inside out. This is about ramping and credibility with your team, not an ongoing personal portfolio.
WHAT YOU BRING
Must-have
- A senior commercial leader (Sales / Account Management / Business Development). with 5+ years leading and developing sales teams, ideally including scaling or leveling up an existing team.
- A proven track record of hitting and exceeding revenue targets, both personally and through a team.
- Hands-on, field-oriented leadership: you coach on live deals, run structured 1:1s, and genuinely develop your people.
- A highly structured, data-driven approach (forecasting, pipeline, KPIs).
- Strong communication and negotiation skills, and credibility with senior stakeholders.
- Croatian at native or near-native level, and English fluent (C1).
Nice-to-have
- Experience scaling a new market, region or team to a higher level of performance.
- Background in travel-tech, vacation rentals, marketplaces, SaaS or scale-ups.
- Familiarity with the Croatian vacation-rental ecosystem and regulation.
- An existing local network (hosts, property managers, key stakeholders).
- Experience with Pipedrive (CRM) and Looker (BI/reporting), and a habit of continuous learning.
